At the graduate level, enrollment in computer engineering programs has increased between 12 and 20 percent annually for the last several years – a 33 percent climb in enrollment between 2014 and 2015. The field offers a range of cutting-edge careers in healthcare analytics, cybersecurity, and software and mobile device programming, and students are participating in hands-on research and projects with companies like Intel and IBM. Purdue’s innovative EPICS curriculum provides computer engineering students opportunities to bring their talents to high-need communities.
