Wanda Kratochwill, a third grade teacher who has taught at the Arena Community Elementary School for 19 years, walks through the hallways with supplies on Thursday, May 24, 2018.

The Arena Community Elementary School, which was built in 1952, will close its doors for good on Monday, June 4, 2018. Next year, most students will travel 9 miles west to River Valley Elementary School, which is part of the River Valley School District, in Spring Green.
