Yara Rieper, 21, of Freiburg, Germany, spends time with her boyfriend Ben Brackebusch, 21, along the Chicago River waterfront, which has become a gathering space for locals and tourists, near the Wells Street Bridge. The two met in high school in Marshall, Wisconsin, while Rieper was an exchange student.
