Adolfo Guerra sits in the living room of the home he shares with his family, including two older brothers who moved to Galveston more than a decade ago. Guerra, a Guatemalan immigrant who has permanent residency in the United States, does lawn maintenance six days a week and is studying mechanical maintenance and engineering.
