In Granger, Indiana, a steakhouse has gone through a major transformation after owner Roberto Beristain was deported to Mexico. Eddie’s Shake Shed has reopened as The Shed under new management.

But farther inside, most everything has changed in the year since Roberto Beristain, the old owner, was detained, then deported, as part of a crackdown on undocumented immigrants by a tough-talking new president.
