Stephani Rickerd, the owner of Buddy’s Place dog grooming, crosses Taneytown’s main street, which is a mix of housing alongside closed, nonessential stores and restaurants operating in a limited capacity. While her shop is closed down, Rickerd is using her free time to paint the walls and prepare for the opening of the shop’s new location just down the block


Carroll County, which includes the nearly 7,000 citizens of Taneytown, had a confirmed 83 cases of Covid-19 as of Sunday, March 29, 2020.
