Cesar Montelongo, a third year student in Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine's MD-PhD program, examines Petri dishes in which he conducted an experiment looking at interactions of viruses with bacteria in the bladder. Montelongo, a native of Mexico, attended President Donald Trump's first State of the Union Address to Congress.
