What types of clients do you work with?
Alyssa works with nonprofits, NGOs, advocacy organizations, foundations, corporations, and editorial publications. Clients range from national organizations like Feeding America and Earthjustice to branded content projects produced on behalf of corporate partners.

Do you travel for assignments?
Yes. While based in Washington, D.C., Alyssa regularly travels for multi-day documentary and field projects across the country. Travel is billed at cost and quoted separately from the creative fee.

What does a typical engagement look like?
Most commissioned projects begin with a brief call to discuss scope, timeline, and deliverables. From there, Alyssa provides a proposal with a clear fee structure. Assignments range from single-day event and portrait coverage to multi-week documentary projects spanning multiple locations.

How does licensing work?
Licensing is tailored to each project — most nonprofit and corporate clients receive rights for their own communications, publications, and digital channels. Additional usage, such as sharing with partner organizations or outside publications, can be arranged and is quoted accordingly.

Do you offer video in addition to photography?
Yes. Alyssa produces short documentary video stories as a producer, director of photography, and audio recordist. Video projects are quoted separately from still photography.

Are you available for aerial photography?
As an FAA Part 107-certified drone pilot, Alyssa can provide aerial photography and video for eligible locations. Note that the Washington, D.C. area falls within a restricted flight zone; drone work is available for projects outside the immediate metro area.
