Neighbor Stories for Feeding America
Producer and Director of Photography work for Feeding America, the national network of food banks
Feeding America — the national hunger relief organization — contracted Alyssa to serve as producer, director of photography, and audio recordist on a series of short documentary video stories. She researched and organized each reporting trip, conducted and helped shape the interviews, filmed alongside second cameras, recorded audio, and provided editorial and scripting feedback. The result is a library of intimate, character-driven stories featuring food bank clients, volunteers, and partner organizations across the country.
Stories in this series include: Ms. Edwards in South Carolina; Jackie in Wyoming (Feeding America); Fresh Local Produce in Hawaii (MA'O Organic Farms); Food Pantry Volunteer Mark in Oklahoma City (Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma); and additional individuals across multiple states.
